Man all the KTM's look so twitchy today, 250's and 450s.

And yet they went 3 for 4 today. Not sure I trust your judgement.

Never said they suck nor they wouldn't win. I'm not the only person to say their bikes looked unsettled all day, I mean James even mentioned it and look at the posts made right around the time I made mine. My point was it's even more impressive their riders finished where they did. Did you not see the lap Chase nearly went OTB and then high-side in a matter of 20 seconds? I don't know how you can argue his bike looks settled.

Rides like that are why I shake my head when people disrespect Chase lmao. He's still hard to be a fan of because he makes every situation as difficult as possible, but his skill really is second to none. The existence of beast mode Tomac and Jett will make his stats look less amazing than they probably should, but he's one of the best riders to ever swing a leg over a dirtbike in terms of pure talent and speed.

I hope this helps his mental game.

What a day of racing in both classes. Track proved to be great for passing and even brought Tomac out of Twitter hibernation.

He’s right you know…it’s ok to have a slight amount of dust pop up and not have ruts from corner to next corner…

Hard not to "love moto". Wish I could have done it much longer than I did, but watching it, talking about it, and looking at cool photos new and old ain't so bad 🙂

Ricky Bobby is getting thrown out of an Aplebees somewhere, while nodding in approval at AP!

Hopefully Jett is just hurting a little bit and not truly injured in a big way. This could turn into an epic series if he’s healthy and Sexton has regained his confidence.

Well, hopefully yes. He couldn't even stand up for the second half of the moto, he was sitting through every section.

Yeah, it sucks that he may be actually injured. I may not be the biggest Jett fan boy, but anyone with any sporting mentality would want the competitors to be as close to full strength as possible.

Let’s hope Jett is healthy next race and see what Sexton does now he has got to be riding on some confidence.

impressive ride....for sure

but it needs way more than just one hell of a ride like this to prove the old "shocking" Chase is history 🙄

Jetts balance is his greatest strength and if he's missing a chunk of muscle in his shin / ankle area,  that's going to have a lasting effect you'd have to think, right?

Could see him having to change his style for awhile until he's back to 100%. Will be interesting to see just how long that is and if it changes the dynamic of this class / series.

If your point was that their finishes were good in spite of their bikes then I must have missed where you posted that.

The point I am making is a bike that looks settled is not necessarily setup to go fast on.

Yeah, the posts are scattered throughout this chat so no worries if you missed it but here's one for example:

But I'll just have to fundamentally disagree on that point you're making and still give more credit to the riders that made it work regardless. All that I'm saying is that I think that Chase will be even better after more testing on the bike because it did not look calm under him today and it looked like he was fighting the bike more than the track.

Fair enough. Agree to disagree 🙂
