AP just worked through all his emotions live on TV. Best interview of his life. I can't wait for him to finally win one of these.

Huge props to AP for doing the post race interview. He could have run back to the pits all pissed off and pouty but he stood there like a man and faced it.  That's someone you can really root for and respect. 

That might be the most gutted I've been after a race. Wow. Can't imagine how AP feels. Great ride for Chase though. He needed that one.

So I thought Wilson was down on that double before the big double. Chase rolled the small double and then jumped the big double which I thought was after the red cross flag. Am I misremembering?

Post-Race Press Conference 

Can't believe that just happened, so bummed for AP. 

The last time this happened (I think it was with Marv) he still got the win but lost two championship points, right

I just researched and Wilson was going backwards on the side of the track between the take off and landing on the small double. Chase was past Wilson and past the red cross flag. I don’t see a penalty. 

I think they dock you 2 positions worth of points. Instead of 26 for the win he might get 21 as if he was 3rd.

I believe he was docked points but didn't lose any positions. 

Fair or not? Not my call to make. 

Nevermind, I looked it up. Marvin jumped the red cross flag when he won Seattle in 2019, was still awarded with the win but fined seven points. Interesting what will happen to Sexton..

BS IMO. He was past the flags, rider, and obstacles of the incident.

Webb in the drivers seat now as Sexton out of the hunt and Eli riding hurt.  I would think KTM resigns Webb at this point as he proven he a champ again.

So what? The lights were on and everyone else rolled the section. He gained an advantage by ignoring or not seeing the lights.

I definitely wouldn't count Tomac out yet... all he would need is a win next week and he shares the red plate with Webb. 17 points will be very hard for Sexton to make up, but he certainly has the speed to rack up some wins. Just needs to stay off the ground.

I saw no lights on that jump. Where were they?

what everyone else does is 100% irrelevant. 

If Eli gets on a winning streak he will beat Webb. If...

Eli probably feels he has greater speed than Webb when it comes down to it.

How did McElrath get so terrible? I mean that guy is worse than that lowest supported main event guys. He could use a benching doesn't look like he's trying.
