I am sure they would be happier seeing him stay in Fox and having a TLD sticker on his bike, than losing him and having him wearing all TLD.
The Kawi looks so good right now, wonder how Chase would go on it. But he’s looking pretty comfortable on the KTM finally, and he was very happy with it outdoors.
That is my dream signing but I have a feeling he exercises his opt-in with KTM.
If there is still a KTM team and they have the money to still be competitive.
The Shop
Yes, but he would most likely have to make the decision before the end of Supercross.
Well technically the ball would be in his court, however if ktm says look we are in bad shape. If you don’t opt out we won’t be able to provide the same level of support. Soooo it’s kinda a mutual option in my mind. Chase will want a conversation about things before he opts in or out.
No way chase signs up to go share a semi with Deegan, webb, and possibly eli for another SX season. He's not going back to Honda. Not sure why any contender would go to Ducati. Suzuki is no. Triumph going to make him an offer he can't refuse? Seems like it would be a little crazy to leave KTM the way things are going this year. Kawasaki would seem like only viable possibility but just don't see the upside if competitive where he's at.
Definitely lot of domino's to fall this off-season though.
Vialle is eligible to race the 250 class next year if he doesn’t win the title again this year. Do you think he should?
I think with Vialle it can go either way. He just needs a year or two on a factory team to be sure that he can grow into the class. Lots of guys are in their 30s and will retire in a year or two
That’s Kawasaki, not PC.
Mitch wants De Wolf.
I get it - That has been Kawi's stance, but when has Mitch had someone race Bercy recently? I'm going back 4 or 5 years and there are no entries from PC. One that comes to mind is Weimer and that was a long time ago. I guess if Mitch wants him enough then he'll go back.
Yea, because Kawasaki won’t let them.
what American 250 rider has even been there in the last 5 years?
De Wolf is on the list for most of the factories in MXGP, and probably on the list to keep an eye on from some major teams in the US (especially with his interest in SX, young age and talent). I think that Mitch needs some major backing from one of his sponsors to pull de Wolf to PC Kawi.
The owner of Nestaan team doesn't joke around. He invests (and has invested) a LOT in his team here in MXGP for more then a decade.
Kyle Peters, Chris Blose, Joe Shimoda, Cullin Park, Kevin Moranz, Jace Owen
Kay wants to race supercross, and Monster has deeeep pockets.
I guess I should have said, what American factory 250 rider has gone there in the last 5 years?
Joe doesn’t count.
With Craig riding a 450 on the 250 side of Star, I wouldn’t be surprised if Deegan joins him so they pit alone. This would separate Sexton and Deegan
Either way, I have a feeling 2026 Silly Season will be the biggest ever. So many people have contracts up at the end of this year...
And you also got to factor in who will be retiring or moving-up.
Pit Row
I think that is entirely up to what happens to KTM later this month. If 3 rides dry up values drop
4 450s isn't it? I am not certain how many 250s, isn't AEO a support team too?
Sorry if this has been said, but I'd sure like to see Barcia and Roczen on TLD Ducati for 26-27!
Well AC went to Geneva in 2015, hit the wall and needed shoulder surgery. This was after pulling out of the 2014 season to repair the other shoulder.
I think Eli wins the SX championship and then goes around another year.
I don't know chase will want to be Eli's team mate, he will want to be the number 1 rider.
He will have to stay at KTM if that is even an option?
