What's up everyone! I have a 2005 KX125 and I have been searching high and low for a PC Linkage. I am already on the waitlist with PC for their triple clamps, but they have discontinued making the linkages. They also wont give me any info on dimensions since its proprietary info.... (I get it, but if you are choosing not to make the part at least give others the opportunity to make it IMO)
I have only seen one come up for sale and it was gone quick. So I was thinking about sending my stock linkage out to a buddy of mine who owns a machining shop and he said he would recreate one as close as possible based on photos/information I have found online.
Here is all the information I've found online:
- PC for some reason made 3 different links, KPA041252 and KPA041253 which measure 152mm and 153mm
- They also made a 155mm link KPA041255 - its meant to work with the PC knuckle, to create a whole linkage system. Part # for the knuckle is KLS04125
So since I don't have the knuckle, I am just going to have my friend recreate the 153mm linkage arm. If someone has the entire linkage system (155mm arm and PC knuckle like in the 3rd photo) and wants to be the best person ever and send it over so it can be scanned and recreated that would be awesome! If not, I don't blame you. I wouldn't trust UPS with that either.
I will keep everyone updated with the finished project and if someone wants to order one I can put you in contact with my buddy who made the part.
Nothing on eBay. I wonder if a later model PC knuckle 250F might be close?
It looks shorter in height and longer in length. The link itself looks standard for a lowering link.
