My bike has a brand new engine. Top end and bottom. It’s runs fine but doesn’t ride right. In first gear I can’t go faster then 1/4 throttle or it will shift back to neutral. In second gear I can’t go past 1/2 throttle or it goes to neutral. Every other gear seems fine. It has about 20 hours on the engine. Rm125 2003

I would guess that when the bottom end was rebuilt, something wasn't put back together correctly, particularly the pawl.

Burn It and buy a new bike.Much easier than spitting cases again haha. Check what 03rm said and also proper placement of the shift forks and locator.
