Hi,
Novice @ riding (been years since I was active rider) but going on a 6 day trip across Cambodia. Lots of water crossing wondering what kind of boots are best at keeping the water out? Thanks.

Sidi crossfires are pretty good at keeping water out. They have an additional liner that you can secure around the calf area. The worst I've had are Tech 10's.

I'm on Tech 7s. I would say way better than previous cheaper boots i've had, but my soles are shot after less than a year of use with chunks falling off. Was sporting some nice purple duct tape my last ride out to keep them together. Too short of life span for a $350/boot. Now get to send them off and have the soles replaced.

Another vote for sidi. For anything other than pure moto, X-fires are hard to beat.

Duct tape the top of boot cuff to your pants is a good way to keep water out

I have SIDI Aria. These boots are comfy and waterproof.
