Alpinestars Tech 1 ? ? ?

Hello guys i hope you are doing great. So to get to the point straight away. Im in the serach for new boots and i saw about the tech 1's and i wanted to ask here at the forums. Has anyone tried them? In comparison with the tech 5's how do the feel and what about the safety level they are at?

I have a set. Good entry level boot, but you get what you pay for. They won't last as long as my Tech 8's and I plan on giving them to this young rider who is starting to ride.

I bought a pair last year. Theyre okay, but im upgrading. I agree though, overall a good entry level boot. I worry about how great the protection is though
