Practice Tracks Near Houston (West Side)

You'll have to drive a bit, but nothing horrible, maybe. 3Palms in Conroe (NW) is probably the easiest, and many will say the best, option. They have 5 full size MX tracks, 4 of which will be prepped regularly.

Over on the east side of Houston you have the legendary Rio Bravo MX that is now fully prepped weekly and has an in ground pool to cool off in during those hot summer days.

There are several other great tracks in the area, those are the best 2 IMO and the closest that are worth going to....

Also, google Cycle Ranch, it's over near San Antonio and is truly moto heaven.

There is also a Houston specific motocross website full of good info about tracks and races that you can easily find with basic google skills....( I don't think I'm allowed to provide the URL on this site)

I'd say 3 palms is closest and the best bet for you if you're on the west side. I think there's a track on the southwest side of the city, but I'm not entirely sure. And I have a 2000 RM125 up for grabs if you're interested.

Wish I was relocating to somewhere in Texas.... Alas I must stay in the frozen tundra on Iowa. Oh well, heading for Swan MX in March, and I-35 at Thackerville on the way down. Might make that Spring Break race at 3 Palms, I like the 3 motos, 3 tracks program. Sounds like fun!!!!!!!!!!
