These subframes are available for the following models:

Honda CRF250, 2014-2017.

Honda CRF450, 2013-2016.

Honda CR250, 2002-2007.

Yamaha YZF 250, 2014-2017.

Yamaha YZF 450, 2014-2017.

These carbon fiber parts are the exact parts manufactured for many of the top factory motocross teams in the AMA Nationals, Monster Energy Supercross and MXGP series.

Made with a 4 layer of epoxy matrix pre-preg carbon Hexcel Hexply M49 600g/sqm (the same carbon fiber used in many race car chassis)

This process utilizes 1 layer of epoxy matrix pre-preg carbon Hexcel Hexply M52 200g/sqm (high quality cosmetic finish carbon fiber) made with a polymerization process in autoclave to ensure maximum strength while at the same time producing the absolute lowest weight part possible.

The gloss surface finish is obtained by polishing the resin, not by utilizing transparent paint or a clear-coat like some of the competitors’ products. Every piece is hand-finished by skilled technicians to ensure you are getting the highest quality carbon fiber race parts available today.

The approximate weight of these sub-frame/airbox assemblies is 1100 grams and varies slightly by model.

* Please Note: These parts are built to order and delivery time is 7-10 business days.

Several reasons:

1. They are really expensive

2. I had to modify the sub-frame in several places to mount the ignition and for shock clearance and I was uncertain if those changes would be permanent. The main drawback to carbon parts like these is the fact you cant just weld a bracket on somewhere or modify the part (unless you know how to lay carbon and I do not)

Here are a few pics of what I was referring to:

Is cmt still producing these?
I am not sure but they are probably on their website if they are. I do not import the parts any longer.
