Hi,
Probably alot of people who are looking for special parts in the bazaar section will also look on Vintage Bike Ads ?
To make a story short there is on VBA a guy named Marc Bowman, trying to sell me a HRC silencer for only 170$ that's right.. 170$ ! Sounds suspicious.
When i ask for some photos, just like i expected he gives me the photos of www.vintagehonda.nl
So when i tell him he's probably a scammer because he is using pictures from someone else their parts, he became silent ! No email or replies anymore.
Like some other VitalMX members did the past few days i want to tell you guys to be aware ! Not only here, but also on other pages.
If someone is trying to sell you factory parts, but using photo's from other people their parts. You might be dealing with a scammer !

Quick search found this site: link where his email is listed as a scammer.
His email address is also marc4bowman@gmail.com
The Shop
I joined this list today just to let you know that I also was contacted after posting an ad on the Internet BMW Forum. I wanted to buy a single touring pannier, because I crashed and bent one pretty badly.
So this guy emailed me that he had one he would sell, then he sends me photos off of the "Globe Scout" website, and he says he would sell it for $170 USD. That must be his favorite price! I got suspicious when he couldn't provide the correct dimensions, and his emails had a lot of bad spelling. When I googled his email, it led me to this thread.
Thanks again!
I fooled around with this idiot gathering information and tracing his possible whereabouts. Apparently in the state of South Carolina. The city is Beaufort S.C. and I just happen to have a friend that is a trooper in that area. He was going to meet with this scum but his job had him on another issue. Now he has a new email autoparts282@yahoo.com trying to make another attempt and he loves the amount of $230 for some reason. Best thing about crooks is they are stupid and desperate not in that order. Beware and hope this helps.
Thanks from my side to for the update !
