okay so I just got the swing arm back from powder coating and went ahead and got a full bearing rebuild kit but I'm not sure how everything goes. i wasn't the one who took the old bearings out so I'm clueless. it's for a 06 rm125, if someone could just tell me the order that all the seals and washers go I could do it.

If you go on rockymountains microfiche for your bike it should show you the order that stuff goes in. Or a service manual if you have it.

On the outside it's one washer top left, thrust bearing, one washer bottom middle, large seal and then the bush in the bottom right sits in the seal. The small seal sits the other side of the bearing, where the pivot bolt passes through the crankcases.

The parts fiche just shows the two washers and thrust bearing as one part. I assume the bags contain washers of different sizes. If they are both different sizes in each bag then that's for one side.

Yes. It sits inside the large seal and the end of the bush sits inside it.

so i pressed the bearings in and put all the parts into place like they're suppose to but when I try to put the swing arm into place on the bike theirs just not enough room for it to go in to place. I'm guessing something isn't right

Are you using OEM parts?

i am not. the kit is from bearing connections, I assume it's something I'm doing since it's my first time doing it. the kit seems like good quality parts.

Is the part at the top right of the photograph in place and the correct way round. Also is the bearing flush with the bottom of the recess these parts sit in.

Look at the Motosport microfiche. Should go something like this. This is for 2006 Suzuki RM125 Rear Swinging Arm (model K1, K2, K3) (whatever that means, I'm not a Suzuki guy). Looks to me like you have wrong parts and are missing parts. The chain drive side should have 7 parts, plus the nut. The right side should have 6 parts.

Right side Should have the tube spacer (you have), inner seal (rubber piece?), bearing cage (#2), then #3 is the "outer bearing", Then the (29.2X37X4) outer seal, then outer pivot spacer.

The number on your bags are not factory numbers it does not look like. I personally would throw the parts you bought in the parts bin and start over. That way you can match up the part number on the microfishe with with part number on the bag and know what part goes where.

Look at the Motosport website, and buy the correct parts you need.

Both sides have 6 parts. The extra one on the chain side is the washer for the nut.

The spacer/sleeves protrude a bit on the inside until you mount the swingarm to the frame and fit the engine. Found some pics of my 06 RM125 with new bearings/seals on my phone. Just follow the microfiche above and pack with grease.

thanks everyone for the help, I didn't have the bearing pushed to the correct measurement but finally got it figured out and on the bike! Cool
