I ride a 2015 FC450. There are times when I cannot shift up out of second to third or out of third up to fourth. Doesn't happen all the time. It also seems to pop out of gear sometimes. Is anyone familiar with this issue? If so, what sort of repairs are we looking at? Thanks for your help. I'm scheduled to run in the Lake Elsinore Grand Prix 100 mile race in a few weeks so I have got to get this fixed. Thanks again!

First and foremost make sure your technique is right. Incomplete pulls on the lever wont shift or it will pop back down.

My TC250 does the same thing in deep conditions, cant powershift etc, have to concentrate, pull clutch all the way in, let off the gas some, etc. Sucks. I’ve lost multiple positions in races because of it. I believe its on ktm talk or possibly tt - there is a thread about fixing this somewhat by doing a very specific filing job and couple other things. It has good pictures of the procedure. I think I found it with a google search. Hoping to have a good shop do it for me if they are familiar(Cooksey here in Dallas). Hope this helps, good luck.

I’ve heard you can replAce the Shift Star. On the 2016 + they are aluminum and wear out. Located on the right side case.

Yup I dealt with stalling issues forever with arc levers, I no longer use them
