Looking at buying a set of the GPI radiators and hoses off eBay for my 04 CR125 because of the price point at about $100. Were as one side from Honda is about $200.

Has anyone used them before and have any feedback? Are they worth the it or are they pieces of crap?

I have used them on a 2006 cr 125 and they worked great! Crash-tested.

Thanks guys. Sounds like for the price I’ll have to pull the trigger on them then!

I have a set on my 03 cr250. They fit but one of the pipes needed adjusted slightly. For the money they are ok.

Have a set on my old ‘12 CRF250 which I have never bothered to sell on. For the money the GPI rads are great, although it took a little bit of work to fit the works connection rad guards to them. Not the best picture, but the best I have of them:

Complete shit. Had a set and both sides broke just from vibration
of normal riding. (no crashes). Garbage. Would never get another set. Ever.

Bought quite a few. Had to modify/ grind/ drill a bit to get to fit just right on some. Others were fine. Definitely worth the money imo.

Ive heard they bend easier than stock ones, other than that nothing crazy

But Ive always just hunted around on ebay for OEM from a parted out bike, there are tons of close to new parts on there.

Buy used for $20-30 bargain. It can be a gamble but I've never had a problem.

I bought some for my 96 CR. I have not fired it up yet so I don't know about function but for fit I had to ream out of of the mounting holes on each rad with a drill bit. Being aluminum it was really easy and non issue.

I had a set a couple years back and they were terrible. I had to modify them to fit properly and then they split just from use within a few rides. I took them to a guy that repairs my rads and he said the aluminium was so poor that they were difficult to repair. I think has he was trying to weld them they were just melting lol

I bought a pair w/ hoses for my old '85 Honda CR 250R. Fit was good. I had to modify the mount holes for the aftermarket aluminum Devol radiator guards. No issues with them at all after lots of races. Worth $100 IMHO.

The only good thing about them is they don’t leak. The aluminum is extremely poor quality and both of mine broke on the mounts and were flopping around. I was using WC radiator braces too. I was gonna weld them but why bother. Back to stock.

Your best bang for the buck is to get used OEM off eBay and then send them to ICW for repair and bracing.
You're not going to come out with $100/pr. but they will be FAR better quality.

If you want a decent set of new, check out Myler in Utah. Price will be more than the that GPI shit
but not as much as OEM and they stand behind their product.

NO way you can get a used OEM radiator and have it shipped to ICW, fixed, and ship back for under $100

What is ICW?

Something I found funny was they actually hold less coolant than stock even though they are bigger.

Fitment is decent and may require a little work. Then don't like to flex as much as stick and will break instead of bend.

If you know a few guys with the same bikes buy them wholesale and have lots of spares.
