This is my first rodeo with I guess a universal pipe amongst the 3 Austrian bikes. Ordered this full yoshimura rs12 off Motorsport with my machine selected(2022 gas gas mc350) I believe it’s the same pipe for the ktm and husky 350 as well. Anyways, the pipe comes stripped of any rubber fittings but has a bag full of random fittings and grommets. Some plastic and some rubber. and I can’t figure out how any of these work. The front mount hole is an oval and the rear is a circle. I looked at the stock pipe and the rubber sleeves are in there pretty tight with the outside washers placed in them. Am I suppose to swap those from the factory pipe to this one? Every pipe I ordered for my Kawi’s came either rubber fitted or just hard mounted. Anyone have some insight on how to bolt this thing up? Thanks

I used the same rubber washer mounts that came in the stock pipe, and used the oem silver washers with them. I was shocked to see the header is only held in by the springs like a 2 stroke. You can not use the rear header mount bolt on the yosh. It just has the bracket for the spring from header to silencer. Got everything mounted and ready to test it out.

It looks to me like that one supplied plate with the 1-big hole and 2-small holes is supposed to bolt to that spot on the header and then get another rubber grommet setup in it to use that frame mount.

That’s what I thought as well but there is no way to mount that plate to the bracket on the header. It doesn’t fit it in any way which makes me wonder what that plate is for.

You are missing the step where you add the adapter. You need to install before putting the header on the bike.

Thank you sir. Pulled it back off and installed the bracket.

That can looks gigantic. I’m sure the performance will be great though.

The mid pipe mounting? Rube Goldberg or genius?

Yeah, now you need an extra Allen wrench along with all the torx bits in your tool box. All the miss matched bolts give me OCD.

Fair play to yosh though, in 20 years of riding, their pipe was the only one I've bought that fit perfectly.
