Yamalube in a ktm

I know i know oil threadsad i have a new jug of yamalube 10-40 . Is that ok for ktm 350? I will find others uses for it if not.

Nope. Only ktm oil can go in it. If the bike was a yamaha it would work.

asking more about the weight type. don't have the manual right with me and I was curious if others have ran that weight with no problems.

I run 10-40 in my 250SXF. Can’t imagine there being any problem with it.

I dunno but I always run the weight they recommend. I think its 10-50 for the 4 strokes. If the engineers spec'd it there must be a reason why.

My buddy with a 450SX-F FE has been using 15w40 Rotella in his for the past 70 hours. I’m sure it will be fine.
