Anyone out there who already own a new 450?!

Are the wheels from the 2017 yz250f fitting to the new 450 ?

The wheels are the same on a 2017 &18 450 in terms of fitment. They reduced some weight in the rims but otherwise hubs,spacers,sprockets all the same. Doesnt answer your question directly but hopefully helps....two more weeks until the new 450 lands on the east coast I'm told.

I sure hope so, I just got off the phone with yamaha and they did say September but not a specific date. I have all my aftermarket stuff ready to slap on it as soon as it gets here! I'm in Charlotte NC, where are you at?

The 250f has a 1.85 rear rim and the 450 has a 2.15 width. I'm not sure how much difference it will make in handling but that's the only thing that is different

Hey! Just up the road from you in Mooresville...looking good on your stash of parts. I got wheels and a box on the way from Renthal so far. Like the seat cover.Didnt want to pull the trigger on that as I thought they had changed some dims on those. Last I heard they will be in Atlanta transfer station Aug 27th and up our way 2 September...sure hope thats right!

Yes me too! The seat cover is from guts and it's for the 18, I went ahead and ordered it but I'm kinda worried about the foam in it since I have heard of people irritating there butt from hitting the seat base so I will probably get the thicker seat foam. I have everything for the gytr clutch except for the basket and I ordered a couple gytr air filters and the factory 4.1 slip on is on it's way. cant wait! Maybe I could get you to come ride at my buddies house in Alexis if you like?
