Snapped the chain guide off my 2013 yz250. I need to know which year yz/yzf swingers bolt right on. I hear the 06-08 yzf ones might work? Not interested in the 09+ swingarm update. Been spending too much $$ lately and the bike already handles fine.

Thanks boys

Whats the reason you cant repair the guide? You can weld aluminum and that guide isnt bearing really any weight. That would be cheaper than a new one by far.

The tabs for the chain guide are clean off. So id have to have some fab’d up which worries me.

If you can find a reputable aluminum welder, he should be able to fix you up no problem, without compromising the integrity of the swing arm.

Yea man take it to a small metal shop in town. Have them fabricate some tabs. If that bill is more than $50-70 id be surprised. Hell you can go to lowes or home depot and make them yourself. Layout where you need them and have the shop weld it.

Zero reason to be concerned.

I ripped the guide off my 2014 YZ250F and got it welded back on and reinforced by a local shop. I also switched from the Acerbis plastic guide to a TM Designs.
