YZ125 to 144

Just had my cylinder bored and recoated, have modded powervalves to suit ect,
Just need to know what the head cc is going to need to be for the 144?

I can't help you with the cc's, but I would be more concerned with making sure the squish size is correct.

I am most likely mistaken but I was thinking about doing a 144 to my yz125, is not as simple as buying a Athena kit? Like does that not include everything you need? Or do.you also have to do this too?

My kit came from Eric Gorr, already milled. He might know. He does respond to emails.

You have to grind the cases for clearance

You will have to bore the cases to accept the bigger piston.
12.5 cc would be a good starting point.
Even better with a VHM head & a few options on chamber inserts.

Can’t you just ever offer some advice without plugging your products or hits to your website?

There’s several highly reputable engine builders and business owners that come here just to help out and bench race.

You'll need to increase the volume by 15% to maintain the stock ratio.
