Has anyone put there older x trig clamps from a 16-17 crf250 on the 2017 crf 450?

I thought I read somewhere that they did in fact fit up even tho the new 17s are 49mm

Thanks

I'd agree except I got told two different times from technical touch that they do fit .

Then another guy who was interested in them called and they told them no they are different .

Ride engineering clamps are the same . So.. that's why I came on here and checked

I'm waiting to hear back from ride engineering on the same question.

When i bought my clamps from Rick at KYB in November. I asked him the same question and he told me yes. The 2mm difference in the lower tubes was achieved by using thinner upper tubes. So the clamps will work. The steering stabilizer mount is still there, 20mm & 22mm are your offset options.
I just got my x-trig preload adjuster off backorder as well.
