Looking to replace the intake boot on my 2002 cr250. It seems that they are discontinued. I can get one for a 2005-2007 model cr250 but they had a shorter carb and Im thinking that the intake boot would be too long, or even at a different angle and even if it did fit onto the carb ok would it fit my stock reed cage OK? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to install a keihan pwk carb and boyesen rad valve. I thought the rad valve would come with its own intake boot, but for my particular model it does not instead it says to use the stock intake boot, so my replacement intake boot must match up to the stock reed block design or it wont work with my already purchased rad valve. The pwk carb is the long body airstriker without the tps.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I have the reeds covered with the new rad valve. I am looking for the intake boot that goes from the carb to the reed block. I would like to get a new one vs used if possible. Im not very versed with ebay but I guess I will have to start hunting on there later tonight to see if I can find some NOS unless someone with experiance can confirm (or deny) that I could make one work from an 05-07 model. Edit: Duh! I see now that it does include the intake boot but it is used. I may go that route if I have too but would rather get new if possible

Have your Honda dealer do a search. It searches other dealers for the part. I would bet someone, somewhere has one.

Slowcr250, when running this setup on the 02 what carb did you use? The longer length airstryker that fits the 02s? Or the shorter length 05 and up tps model?

I usually try cmsnl.com for discontinued or vintage nos parts, the only issue is the shipping can get pricey being it’s shipping from the Netherlands..

do you have a 02 cr with a 07 boot yourself or did you just heard about it someone where? If you do do you have the tmx or the pwk long body or short body? Thank you!
