i just put new bars on my bike and as you can see the clutch side is hanging off more than the throttle? it says the bars are aligned in the clamps?the clutch side is two inches longer than the gas. ee

I bet you didn't push the lock on grip all the way.

The same thing happened to my buddy. And he swore it was on all the way. Take the grip off and put it next to the bar to make sure it's on all the way

Agreed. I would remove the grip, set the lever where you need it, measure the length of bar leftover and measure the grip assembly and compare the lengths. You can use the drop gage side of a caliper to measure the inside of the grip too. A little bit of comparing/mathing but it should all make sense.

looks misaligned in the clamps, bar pad and the bends in the bars look a bit off centre.
are you sure youve got the alignment marks correct?

I had to almost beat my ODIs on with a mallet. They were a pain on new bars.

ODI's need a bit of a flogging to get on all the way with bars that have knurling on the clutch side.
