Im currently in the position of deciding between selling my 10’ YZ250 and either moving to a 16’ YZ250F, 16’ KTM 250sxf or 15’ crf250r or keep it and dump 1k into it.

I posted the bike on craigslist about a month ago and reposting it every few days to a week with no hits or anything besides the scammers and people wanting to trade for a racing lawnmower or quad....

How can I sell this thing quicker? It has 35hrs on a complete new rebuild with all the paperwork, a service manual and log book of maintenance, and has a lot of stuff done to it like full race suspension and aftermarket parts added for woods riding/racing.

Im asking 3500 but would take 31-32 for it all day. The area around me has loads of older model yz’s like 03-06s going for 4000 with a restyle kit added to it so I thought i priced it fairly (at least).

Any advice? Would like to have a newer bike next year before i start getting into racing.

Keep the YZ and spend the money to get it in top condition. You will save money in the long run.

Post it on facebook marketplace. Craigslist is dead now days. Less scammers on facebook too. Without seeing the bike i cant offer an opinion on the price. It better be spotless for 3500

I have it there as well. No hits besides people who cant read and try and trade me crap. Its really nice for the year. Ive completely rebuilt the bike ground up when i bought it this year. 31-3200 doesnt sound too bad for the bike. I posted it for 3500 but put obo in the post. Would post pics but im on a new pc and havent had time to send anything to it yet.

+1... out of the choices put forth, I'd keep the YZ going strong.

I agree with Facebook marketplace but sometimes getting a phone number or conformation on a date & time to look at something is painfull....
