What is this blue button on my handlebars? (2017 YZ250F)

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I can't find the answer anywhere online. Just picked up a new to me 2017 YZ250F and it has this blue button on the left hand side of the handlebars that lights up occasionally when the bike was running. Only had it running when I was buying it - so haven't gotten a chance to see if there is any noticeable difference when pressed. Figured one of y'all might know.

As far as I know its a launch control - Press it in at the start, its meant to give you a better pull away out the gate, it deselects itself once in 3rd gear,

NOS.....HIT IT....pin the throttle in first n make a decision to hold on to either ur undies or the handle bars
