Like the title states, what's the best way to make a cylinder and cases look new again without damaging the sealing surfaces or nikasil coating? Everything is completely disassembled already.

John Charles on here does vapor blasting. If you don’t have any one local to you he would be a good option.

Can do assembled engines as long as you mask parts not needed to be blasted. Ex: YZ450F ign, clutch and valve cover. He can also fit a frame into his blaster.
Use promo code 69Z28

vapor blasting 100 percent ... just be sure to clean the cases/ parts thoroughly prior to assembly the media loves to stick/pack in tight corners...

Nikasil is very hard and the media will do no damage to it.. However, I don’t tend to blast the media directly in/ at the cylinder bore...

Nothing but various scotch-brite wheels, wire brush and elbow grease…

You can get a great selection of wheels from prymemx.com
