Anybody have any experience with getting their KTM / Husky forks converted to KYB SSS? New off a KTM450FE 18.5. I was looking into it and I am on the wrong coast and nobody here has an good answer, so I turn to Vital. Thank for the help and feedback to how there's may have turned out.

I also have the new KTM 450 FE and sent my AER's off to Factory Connection and their performance mod and re-valve has them working as good as my 450 Yamaha KYB SSS forks. The stock valving on my factory edition was way off.

Enzo does the KYB conversion.

Derek Harris HP Race Development is a technical touch dealer and can also do it. He is revalving my AER's first and if I don't like them he's going to do the KYB swap.

Call evo east Jeremy kready in manheim pa, he has done a fair amount of spring conversions as well as setup kyb forks to fit my 17 fc350, need kyb lugs for that specific application as well as xtrig triple clamps, I absolutely love it and will never ride and air fork again! Give him a shout hopefully he can help you out

I have the KYB conversion kit on my 16 ktm and I’m picking up my 19 KTM Friday. First thing I’m doing is putting my KYB cartridge kit in the air forks.

It’s the best money I have spent on a bike. The KYB conversion is fantastic and makes riding the bike far more enjoyable. Harder you push the bike the more it rewards you. I can’t fault the KYB kit in the AER 48 air fork.

Technical touch now has a kit with billet lugs. $1750 is retail. Ship them to me and I'll install for free and include brand new springs.

Got the Same kit that Technical Touch USA has straight from Europe at https://www.extracross.com/Suspension/KYB-original-parts/kyb-kit-suspension/kyb-kit-cartridge-kit-for-wp-forks/translate-16375.html That includes the revalve and correct springs.

You don't have to pay the 19% vat so the price worked out to 959 euro plus 40 euro shipping to California. That's about $1120.

I just had Stillwell upgrade the forks and shocks on my 18.5 KTM 450 factory edition. Had the Dal Soggio Sphere inserts placed in the forks. They are primo and way better than the revalved and well set-up KYB's SSS forks on my YZ 450 which I still have and ride. The Sphere inserts made it a totally different bike. Super plush and it really can turn and track in corners without that vague feeling I got from the AER's.
