Vortex on 2018 KTM 450 Factory Edition

I came across a used Vortex that was ordered for an 18' KTM 450sx-f. How would this work on my 18' 450 factory edition the way it is? Its stock settings for the 450sx 18 model. My plan was to send it off to Tokyo Mods to get it mapped for various situations since I do mx race, desert, play and trail ride this bike... or do I need to and go with the mapping came with it? Currently I'm running the Tokyo Mods mapping on my bike but thinking the Vortex might be better for off-road desert. I know zero about these Vortex. Thought? Thanks.

I dont think it would work with your bike due to the engine updates, email vortex, they will reply pretty quick.

They told me they were the same for both the regular 2018 Husky FC450 and the Rockstar FC450, so I would assume it would be the same for KTM.

Send it to Twisted Development and have them update the maps. Keeffer is raving about his Vortex from them on his Rockstar Edition.

Thanks, that sounds like the most reasonable way to go. I looked on the Tokyo Mods site and they list the Vortex X10 for the 17' and 18' KTM 450sx-f and FE. So I assume the "FE" is the Factory Edition like mine and this is the one I have here. I did get map one re-done by Tokyo Mods on my stock ECU but its OK and better than stock. Looking for a little more "hit" right off the bottom for sand and maps for other tracks plus woods and desert.
