My 2015 Yamaha is leaking fuel out the carb overflow when the fuel is on. I'm sure it is the needle and seat. I see the needle for sale on the schematic, but does that include the needle seat?

I would make sure your seat is sealing before you go replacing it. If it seals then you just need to adjust your float height

yz125? yz250?

If it's a YZ250, looking at the parts fiche it's just the needle. The seat doesn't look to be sold separately
If it's a 125 then yes it is sold as a set

if its a keihin then youre not gonna be able to replace the seat. Mikunis you can do both.

I would air check the needle to ensure its wrong first and possibly adjust float height to remedy the leak.

did this leak happen suddenly or after sitting for a long time?

Thanks guys. It has been sitting for a bit. It's a smoker 250 with the Keihin carb.

In almost 40 years as a MC mechanic I typically only needed to clean debris out of the carb and seldom had to replaced parts.

Tap the body of the carb with blunt end of a screwdriver and see if it stops

Check to make sure there's not a styrofoam peanut stuck in the float bowl.
