I have no clue where where the strap connects to? There’s nothing on the back side of it to latch it to, and it seems really short

You dont strap it to anything. Need to zip tye it to the bars

Did you ever figure out how to install this? I just bought one and the only way I can make it work is to wrap the strap around the bar and back through the slot. Then zip tie the end of the tab on the front side to lock it in. Did you figure out another way?
