Heading down in a few weeks wondering what tires are good
Edited Date/Time:
Can't go wrong with Dunlop MX3S's or Pirelli MX32's...Make sure you have extra tubes if you're currently running thin OE ones! Practice days are harder-packed than race days (especially late Thursday afternoons); The track crew does an excellent job on race weekends, by the way
PS: Glen *Helen
Um, ya Matt. ive seen you ride before.... As slow as you go I don't think it matters if there is a sand paddle or racing slick on the back. a fresh knobby will make no difference for the likes of you. For your weight class, id focus more on spending money on suspension that can hold a rhinoceros.
Dunlop MX3S or Pirelli MX32. Bridgestone 404 was always my favorite if you can find one. The track does have a hard base like Joe said.

racer112, thanks for the tip. I'm just a little nervous to ride glen helen for the first time. Thought I should ask some locals for a tip or two. ....It reminds me of the first time I rode your mom, things didn't go so well for me. I should have asked all the locals about what set up your mom likes before just diving in.....
Can't go wrong with either the M3S or I personally like the starcross 5 soft. The M3S only last me 3 rides with good feel then I take them off. I have more feel with the starcross soft and they last longer.
