Tips for installing dust seal in brake caliper?

Is there a trick to getting the caliper dust seal installed in a tiny MX bike caliper? I've fought with my 87 KX250 caliper seal for 30 minutes now. I've tried installing the seal over the piston first, but then the outer lip has no way of sliding into the caliper body. Trying to work the inner seal around the piston is a major PITA as well.

Brand new seals? Used seals "grow" once you remove them and are a PITA to put back in.
