Throttle cable cover fell off

Went riding and discovered my throttle cable cover fell off on my 06 Yz450f. Was wondering if I need to pull the carburetor to clean it due to dust and dirt getting inside?

Typically when dirt gets in your carb you want to get it out

If you are speaking of the plastic cover on the side of the carb where the cables attach....Nothing in there allows dirt to get inside of the carb. You should be able to spray a good carb cleaner, blow out with air and be done.
