Hi, I ride Florida sand,,,some is softer than others. I'm older and ride less aggressively than kids would on this bike,,,so I'm off the gas often. Book calls for 560 when in sand.,,and from 35 pilot to 40 same time..???? anyone do this that is C or Vet level ?
I run book called for 40-1 with race gas,,sea level and 90s and humid.

I've been considering cutting slide to let more air in in lower throttle,,any do this on 125?

I know of 2 guys who had the 16 ktm 125 and went way bigger on the main jets, I think the bikes come too lean from the factory. Best bet is to give it a try, better fat than lean

I ground the slide 1 mm steeper and this helped clean up bottom. The 16 maybe different than 17/18 engine. I appreciate your response and would be wise to fatten it up for practice and do a plug chop as I'm coming off track.

I raced yesterday and found a real close setting. The slide cut really helped clean up bottom. I ran 2 bigger main- 500

I was front of each start. Would've got holeshot award but got chopped off by fellow sweeping from outside.
Pulled clean out of sand corners and no pinging
