Subframe twisted!!!

Edited Date/Time 9/28/2017 6:18am
Hi, been out riding at the weekend and didn’t notice until I got home and put new tyres on that the swing arm is not central with the rear fender/sub frame. It is catching the exhaust even with spacers on. And is catching the underneath right side of the rear fender when nearly bottoming out. I’ve attached photos. What do you think? Something looks twisted to me.

Thanks in advance!!

You must have took a spill at some point and bent your subframe. Its easiest to replace it.

I would lay it down on its throttle side and hop on it once. Pick it up take a look and do it again if need be. Mostly because I'm a cheep ass and it's not mangled by any means.

This, you can tweak subframes back. Get a giant pipe and start prying on that baby...

IF you do end trying to bend it back, just know that even something as small as dumping it in a corner can warp it back.

Thanks for the replies guys I’ll strip it back an take a look and will probably just replace the sub frame.

I have a redneck repair that I have used for years. Remove all the plastic tied to the subframe and remove the pipe. Lay the bike on it's side with the bent side up. Take a plastic milk crate and whack the subframe a few times until it is straight. Yeah, yeah I know it's redneck but you won't break any parts off because the impact is distributed out rather than directed to one weld or bend. I don't have a video.

I will take that old sub frame off your hands. I can straighten it in about 2 seconds and then sell it on eBay.
