Starcross 5...Sure looks narrow....

Just put a Starcross 5 medium 80/100/21 M/C 51 M front tire on my kids 250. It’s the same size as the Dunlop that i took off but sure looks alot narrower. Ill bet its a good 1/2 to 3/4 in slimmer than the Dunlop...Anybody else notice this.

Starcross soft front seems to be the go to front tyre for flat track around here, which suprises me cause flat track is hard pack.

Haven't run any Michelins for a few years but they did always seem to be small'ish in volume. They were horrible on hardpack because of less cushion in the tire. Very harsh.

Yes they are thats why i run the 90/100 21 on the front. The star cross soft cant be beat in comparison to the dunlop 3S. Both are equal in the performance but the dunlop will start breaking knobs in even the mildest hard pack tracks. And dont even get me started on the mx51, that things horrible. The starcross soft rear vs dunlop rear id say is pretty close with dunlop taking a better straight line traction.

i was looking at my bike the other day and thought the exact same thing! its mega narrow.
good idea with the 90/100 21
i may do that the next time around, although besides looking funny i haven't noticed a negative effect while riding.

Though pirelli 110 is as big as a bridgestone 120
