Spring for WP Trax shock

I recently bought a used WP Trax shock for my 2020 KTM SXF 450. It is the 2016-20 model with the red shock body (As the one in the stolen picture). I need a new spring for it, but can't find any good information about, what I need. Will a stock KTM/WP spring fit the Trax shock?

I’m curious too, since I pulled off my trax last night and noticed how an aftermarket spring that my last tuner put on doesn’t seem to fit correctly?

Call Powerband, he'll tell you what spring you need.

Any WP spring from at least 2013 ktm fits, as long as it is the right stiffness for your weight. 2016+ has the right weight category. Length should be 260-250mm

I’m starting to think this spring doesn’t even belong on the trax. ID is bigger and it’s roughly 20mm longer.. my shock body also started coming loose after the last shop tuned it and put this spring on

I honestly don’t know if there is a better WP guy than him. But I agree

genuine Trax springs are conical at the lower and, around 2 or 3mm smaller than upper end. They are stepped 3Nm whereas the normal WP springs are 2Nm.

Where did you get that from? Must be old info. WP springs are stepped 3nm. Just look into the user manual of any SXF or FC. In the trax kit there is the same wp springs as used in OEM shock.
