Has anyone ever heard of Shell Lethinax A grease??
It is mentioned in a Yamaha QT50 50cc motorcycle service manual from 1979. There is no info on Google. :-O

Even Shell's search page returns no results.
The QT50 owner's manual calls for a lithium-based wheel bearing grease and then specifies Shell Lethinax A. It is likely that product was readily available in Japan in 1979, but that it isn't super-critical. Just use a good quality lithium grease and you'll be fine.
Braaapin' aint easy.
Possibly the name changed over the years http://www.shell.com.am/en/shell/products/automobile/lubricants-and-special-fluids/shell-retinax-greases?
Either way it sounds like it's and EP2 grease like what is required for the air cartridge in the AER fork. You can get EP2 at any auto parts store.
Thank you for the replies. I will have to go shopping. I don't think my Bel-ray and Maxima stuff is lithium.
I am working on a friend's motorcycle and trying to do it "by the book". :-)
