Sg12 vs tech 10 question

Took a while off from the sport ( about 10 years) used to wear the old tech 8’s and loved them decided on trying some sg12s and have no complaints other than the toe area is pretty hard and I don’t have much “feel” up there. Would the tech 10 be a better choice and if so, how do they run on size? Currently wearing a 12 in the sg12, but have read some people go up a size when going to the tech 10. Thanks for opinions/help

Sizing you should be fine with a 12 in the tech 10s. I have a pair of each and like both, but I do have a problem with the sg12s squeezing my ankles pretty bad. The tech 10s are really comfortable to me, but they are a little heavier. You really can't go wrong with either set to be honest.

I had a pair of tech 10’s a few years back, they’re very very stiff. Had some issue with the feel of shifting and braking. Once you get used to it they’re not bad though, but the SG 12’s were better for that aspect. These days I’m running a Sidi crossfire 2 and I really like them, but I think I’m going to give the alpinestars tech 8 RS a shot

For me, wide flat fleet 13 in instincts, tech 10 s, and size 12 in sg12. And i wear a size 12 in street shoes.
