Looking for opinions on aftermarket seat materials/companies. Are most after market seat covers essentially the same just with different branding? Does any company offer different material/texture?

Motoseat is fantastic. And offer Kevlar panels where your knees would normally wear through cover. Highly recommended.

I’ve had one from traction mx on two bikes now (same cover swapped over) she’s showing her age but the thing has done me well. And they’re pretty cheap if I recall correctly

2nd vote for D'Cor. You can choose all your colors, ribs, etc., and the material is tough. Maybe not as tough as Kevlar, but I don't have any issues. It's super grippy, too, which I like.

I use a company called Pro-Pleat over here - absolute awesome seat covers, uses really hardy material that has great grip. Even has an option to put your race number on your cover!

I’ve only used Thrill Seekers seat covers and haven’t had any issues and super grippy

My motoseat has probably 250 hours on it and still hasn’t torn, ripped, or unstitched. Still grabby as hell too. I did the Kevlar on the sides.

I've had good luck with GUTS, I like the Velcro attachment method.

I can only say good things about SDG. Have been in the game for awhile and Jeff is a solid guy. Depending what you’re riding he has covers, foam, and even some bases.

Pic of Motoseat. With ribs and Kevlar knee protected side panels.

Guts is my pick just based on their available Phantom foam in tall. I think they have the best seat foam available but it's expensive.
