I have a 1989 Suzuki RM250 that I've fitted a set of 1994 RM250 forks too.
Has anyone come up with a way to fit a starting device on an older style fork like this one?
The fork guard, with the fork guide ring style arrangement makes fitting a starting device a little more tricky than a modern fork that no longer has the fork guard guide ring feature.
I'm thinking if i remove the RH fork guide ring, shim the fork so that the start device fits on it snug, and then fit the starting device catch on the right outer edge of the fork guard then it might work.
But just curious to see if anyone else has had any luck with this first before I start hacking away at stuff!
