SPES pipes.. what's so special?

All I know is they're considered pretty trick, and I think a lot of factory teams them in the GPs back in the day?? Anything about them that makes them superior to a FMF, PC, HGS, etc?? Found one for my old 99 KTM 125 race bike but it's not cheap and needs TLC..

"Slechte uitlaten" then it became "spes" and now it's "PPS"
If i'm right hgs and spes learned it all from "DPR exhaust" i just got 2 pipes from dpr back and they are a piece of art. Not had the time to ride it and compare to pro circuit.

Don't know what they asking for the rusty spes.. if the price is right and you wanna know how it delivers the power then give it a try.. otherwise ask pps or dpr what they could do for you ktm.
