Rm 250 steering stem

I have a 05 rm 250 did a rmz a kit swap got the pc clamps , but my stock stem I had to beat it out messed up the threads so I got a stem from a 04 rm 250 got bike all together and found out my stock but doesn’t work , ordered a works connection 04 specific one and it doesn’t work this has been a nightmate to say the least can anybody tell me what these threads look like they are more course then the stock stem threads [img]https://p.vitalmx.com/photos/forums/2019/04/19/340364/s1200_DB2EB187_91…

2004 and 2005 steering stems are different but the stem head nuts (the one missing in your picture) are the same. Therefore, I'm guessing the one you have is not for an RM250, either 2004 or 2005.

2004 and 2005 steering stems are different but the stem head nuts (the one missing in your picture) are the same. Therefore, I'm guessing the one you have is not for an RM250, either 2004 or 2005.
Thanks falcon you are right , the guy sent me a kawi steering stem called works connection and found out what thread it was , but somehow everything worked both lower and upper nut threaded on, bearings were nice and tight and it was the right length.

Haha exactly hopefully this bike doesn’t have as many problems as the 04/05 kx/rmz250 lol
