Hay guys I'm wanting to start running my 2007 rm 250 on vp c12 is there anything I should know before buying it? What's the best oil to mix with it? Iv gone off the pro circuit website for jetting they say the bike was running c12 I just need to get a necj needle iv put a bigger main jet 168 if anyone has any tips or some better carburettor settings I should try that would be much appreciated

Cheers Hayden

I would suggest that maybe you should be running a bit leaner jetting as c12 burns much slower than high octane pump gas.

I would pick a different gas unless your motor is built for that gas

No need for it unless you are running a bunch of compression. 50/50 is fine for protection against detonation.

I had a 2002 rm 125 for a wile, I was told the motor was built by bills pipes or some one that worked there. Anyways it hauled ass, and it ran only on straight c12. I could not afford it so I sold the bike and had a bunch of fuel left over. So I ran it in my 02 cr250, it was a stock motor with stock compression. It ran like crap with that fuel straight or 50/50. I would spend money on a pump gas equivalent . Or build motor to spec for the fuel.

Thanks for the reply iv been reading a lot about it online with a lot of mixed reviews I thought the best thing to do would be buy the c12 and find out myself. So like I said i went on pro circuit and got the jetting specs I now have my carby the same as they used I guess the next thing is a vforce for the bike and then engine work. What sort of engine work would you guys recommend? I live in New Zealand so I carnt just run it down to pro circuit for a tune up. But my guy I use is pretty good. But if I can do most of the work my self that would be awesome.

I would do a complete match starting from the carb through to the exhaust, mill the head but check squish first, get a quad flow torque wing.

Here's a carb that I eliminated the flats on the front and put in a torque wing and then tune the carb
