Anyone know the best way to polish of clean these pegs and ignition cover , I’m looking to get them to how they looked new .

Vapor blasting is how you restore parts. Heres a blasted top end on a 97 cr i just did for a customer. Notice the difference between it and the original dirty aluminum on the bottom end. Its faster, and easier to get a consistent finish with vapor blasting. I spent about 20 mins doing these parts. Youd have hours doing with scotch brite and dremel wheels.

Vapor blasting, and then a direction cut of the letters with either some scotchbrite or sand paper on a block would make that cover look new...

ok , gonna look for someone local to vapor blast ignition cover . would that work for the pegs also

If you cant find a local guy.. Im in mansfield ohio. If you want to ship them to me ill do them no charge.

Just wanted to say thank you to Kirk from KB Moto Works out of Mansfield Ohio . he offered for free to vapor blast a few
parts that i have . I took him up on his offer but paid him for the work. here are a couple of pics of the parts .from start to finish i got my parts back within days .i just wanted to say thank you and i will definitely be sending him more parts .
