Repacking stock rm125 silencer

How do u Repack the stock rm125 silencer of an 07. The silencer has Riverts and I don’t no what to do. And we’re would I buy new riverts??

There should be 8mm bolts holding it together at the lower junction, those are what you remove to slide the canister off.

If you do have a silencer with rivets everywhere, you have to drill out the rivets on one end (usually at the lower junction not all the way at the end cap) and then after repacking you rivet it back together using a rivet gun. Rivet tools and rivets are available at most home improvement or auto parts stores.

You can use a little masking tape wrapped around the packing in a few spots to keep it tight while working it back into the can
