Rekluse question.

Anybody run the rekluse torque drive clutch ? I just bought a 2017 Kxf 450 and really want a rekluse. Found a couple of the torque drive ones on ebay but I guess I really need a auto core for what I'm looking for. My question is if the torque drive is just a beefier stock set up ? And are there any other options then the core $ 899.00 listing. I do see they have a cheaper one for $ 599.00 as well. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

I have a torq drive on my 16 kx450 and I love it. It definitely transfers more power to the wheel only thing is with the extra plates you really need to warm up the bike to fully disengage it.

I decided to go with the Radius X auto clutch. I don't have much time on 450's so hope this help out with not stalling.

you should have got the CX. The X is just the same as the old EXP (non core) but uses the thinner toque drive plates but you still have to remove plates to make the rekluse disc to fit. The CX uses the same toque drive plates but has a new cover and inner allowing you to keep the same stack height.

The benefit being better oil flow and cooling on the CX, more plates to transmit the toque so less chance of slip and less wear. I wouldn't go a non core clutch on a new 450 due to the power they put out.
