Racetech spring question

Picked up a spring from racetech for my 18 sx250 SRSP-632548. Just opened the box and saw a not saying some springs require an adapter because of the different spring length. Anyone know if they do for this model or not?

I think they would have said in the parts look up. Compare the length of the spring you are replacing to the new spring. On a modern bike I haven't had to use a spacer. I used Race Tech on 7 bikes since 1992.
