Has anyone tried race gas concentrate? Just wondering if it's worth using.
Octane boosters are a joke but this stuff is supposed to be way better.

There's a few other brands out there incuding one by VP. It's hard to get race gas around here and I am looking for a safe non-ethanol alternative for my RM250 and KX500.
I can buy non-ethanol 90 octane locally.

Check the ingredients if you can, I’d be willing to bet it’s just toluene or xylene rebranded and sold as that, which you can get much cheaper. It’s legit though, it does work.

Sorry, but it's octane booster not race gas concentrate.

Fwiw it costs me $40 for 5 gallons of sunoco 110. I feel like youd benefit from just ordering REAL race gas for about the same cost. The entire purpose of race gas is consistency and clean fuel. You wont get that with pump gas and an octane booster.

I have used Klotz Hi-trate race gas concentrate & it worked really really well .
Only complaint was it would turn your plastic tank a slightly darker color shade over time

I pay 37 for a 5 gallon pail of Sunoco here in Vegas... it might have gone up a little recently though.

Be sure to read up on differences between dirt bike race fuel and car race fuel.

Race gas concentrate is the new term for octane booster, which is what it will do- raise octane and prevent detonation. That does not mean it will make any more power when blended with pump gas. Check the link to find a VP Racing Fuel dealer close by, or call VP East at 302-368-1500.

Yes. They had a hard time getting a delivery of it. It finally came in at $8.75/gallon. I was about to order concentrate online. VP at the KTM dealer is priced way too high!
