Just got and rm 125 2007 and all seems in good nick apart from when the bike is running in neutral and I shift from neutral to 1st clutch all the way in the bike jolts forward abit and there is a bigger than normal click sound and it doesn’t sound like it’s doing the bike any good? Anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

The wrong transmission oil can cause this so can worn clutch basket or hub. Your clutch lever might also be adjusted wrong.

I have only just changed the oil so that shouldn’t be the issue, could it be that the clutch lever is not disengaging the clutch fully?

Worn clutch basket will cause this.

If the clutch basket has rubber bushing in it and they are old and stiffened that could do it.

I bet it's the clutch basket.

x3 on the basket. I'd bet you have notches in the fingers that are keeping the plates from fully separating when you pull in the lever.
