Wanting some new bars for my yz. Current bars are twinwalls which are fine but they suck when you have lots of stuff on your bars and have to strap it down or when adding a new set of handguards (standard 1 1/8” clamps dont work) so I am either in the market for pro tapers contour 1 1/8” or Renthal Fatbars 1 1/8”.

I used to ride my dads crf450r and he had fatbars which i beileve were windham bends and they felt great. Wondering what the bend of those bars are in pro tapers?

Im about 6’2” so kinda tall if that helps.

They have graphs that show the dimensions. Just compare them

My 2014 KTM 450 SXF came with the Renthal Fat Bars and they are not the same as the Pro Taper Windham bend, at least not the stock ones. The Pro Tapers rise faster and are a little bit taller, but are definitely flatter with the same back sweep. I started a blog and posted some pictures of both.

This picture is the best view to show the difference.

I've been running the Pro Taper Henry/Reed bend on all my bikes for a while. On one bike I wanted more control area to mount hand guards and move the clutch perch further towards center. So I got the Reed/Windham Renthal fatbar. Very similar to the Pro Taper Henry/Reed.
