Pro Taper brake pad question

Hey guys, just picked some Pro Taper race spec sintered brake pads. The instuctuctions say to break them-in your supposed to make 150??!! light to medium applications before braking hard etc. All I can say real is WTF - 150? really? Any real world advice appreciated, probably not going to be following their instuctions.

Never have done any sort of break in for brake pads aside from deglazing and hitting the rotor with scotchbrite. I do a few slow stops and a few hard ones and I consider them good to go.

Lol just ride the bike. You dont have to break in brake pads.
